John Sicolo

John Sicolo, who opened TJ's in Newport almost 40 years ago and was a favourite of the late great DJ John Peel has died. I had the great pleasure of (along with Chris Priest) of contesting the two member Victoria seats for Plaid, with him (John standing as an independent) in the May 1999 county council elections in Newport, there were 10 candidates for the two seats. A really nice fella, who will be greatly missed.
