The
harsh reality of Labour in Newport's savings cuts programme (driven
through by Debbie Wilcox, the Labour Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture) the much loved but now
closed Stow Hill Library. While desperate to save money it is worth
noting that Labour in Newport, once in control increased member’s allowances. One
wonders what’s next?
